The Seduction-Part 2- By A Guest Blogger

Part 1 was the original story by Amanda Belleza Sarmiento described her seduction by Dr. Nars Stewart in a touching detail, I posted the other day.  Amanda concluded it to be just a fantasy.   However, when Amanda and Derek ( Amanda's husband) celebrated  their 60th Wedding Anniversary, Derek told Amanda that Nars and Anna and him had also a minor sexual encounter that same night the seduction occurred.   Derek was not upset of Amanda's story of Seduction.

This is part 2 of Nars and Anna's Life as well as of Amanda and Derek. It is a continuation of the story five to ten years later after the seduction incident.

A year after the Seduction Episode, Amanda and Derek relocated to the East Coast.  Communication between the two couples stopped except for the standard Annual Christmas Cards exchanges.

However, Amanda has another friend ( Rebecca) who is also a resident in the same town as Nars and Anna. Rebecca and Amanda became friends via telephone. Rebecca relays all the town gossips specially what is going on with the Stewarts.

Nars Stewarts is a Dental Surgeon as well as a business investor.   Rebecca informed Amanda that Nars's investment went sour.  He has to sell his vineyards at a loss and filed for bankcruptsy.  Nars and Anna has to sell their multi million residence and moved to a smaller apartment.

A year later Dr Stewart has to voluntarily file a withdrawal of his dental license after several of his patients filed sexual harassments while under anesthesia during dental surgery.

A year later Anna filed for divorce and went back to Texas. Anna renewed her nursing license and has a successful nursing practice back in Texas.

One of the Stewarts sons, now a young adult was residing in San Francisco. Rebecca told Amanda that the oldest son of the Stewart was caught stealing/ robbery and was in jail for a couple of days.

Meanwhile in the East Coast, Amanda and Derek are enjoying life to the fullest. Their 4 adults children have completed college and on their own.  Amanda had plenty of time to get involved with Community activities- related to the Filipino- American organizations in the Washington, Maryland and Northern Virginia.

Amanda went back to school obtained her Ph.D in Nursing. She worked full-time as a Nursing Executive for 10 years. In 2002, Amanda and Husband Derek move back to California for Retirement

Amanda has also retired and spent most of her retirement years writing, blogging and enjoying the company of her six grand children.  Meanwhile Derek, also devoted most of his time playing Bridge, earning master points, playing tennis and the couple built a retirement home in the Philippines💚

Meanwhile,  here's some information if you plan on retiring to the Philippines.

What are the pros and cons of retiring in the Philippines?

The Philippines is renowned as one of the most scenic and welcoming places to retire in Southeast Asia. However, if you want to retire in the Philippines, there are both pros and cons to consider, such as:

Pros

  • Beautiful natural attractions: The Philippines is an archipelago of islands and sparkling beaches, backlit by rainforests and beautiful mountains.

  • Low cost of living: Rent, consumer goods, and food products are all significantly cheaper in the Philippines than in the US, making it an affordable place to live for budgeting retirees.

  • Welcoming community and culture: Filipinos are known for being warm and welcoming to foreigners, so retiring there can be a positive and social experience. English is also a commonly spoken language in the Philippines, which eases communication.

Cons

  • High crime rate: If you emigrate to the Philippines, you should be aware of dangerous areas. Crime and civil unrest can be issues. However, if you stick to the major cities and practice reasonable caution, these issues can be avoided.

  • Turbulent weather: The Philippines is located within a typhoon belt and can experience as many as 20 typhoons per year. Settling on higher ground is advised.

  • Challenging infrastructuresPublic services and infrastructure can be limited, depending on where you are located.  Hospital and medical facilities may be limited in small cities and in the provinces.

Finally, Did you know that Mount Mayon in Albay is renowned for its near-perfect symmetrical cone?

🏔️ This active volcano has erupted more than 50 times in recorded history, with each eruption contributing to the rich, fertile lands that support vast rice fields in the region. 🌾

According to folklore, the volcano was formed from the tragic love story of Daragang Magayon (Beautiful Maiden) and her lover Panganoron. Their tale of romance and heartbreak endures through the majestic beauty and occasional fury of Mount Mayon
